Claymates highlighted as a top Spring pick on Good Morning Washington
Spring is here, kinda. In the nation’s capital, the cherry blossoms peaked on March 17 — perhaps due to the luck of a leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day! It was the second earliest peak date on record, blanketing the city in a sea of pink and white.
Around the same time that the cherry blossoms were emerging, Claymates was featured on local television station WJLA during their Good Morning America program. A transcript of the segment with parenting expert Amanda Mushro is below, and you can watch the full clip in the video above.
TRANSCRIPT
“We’re thinking about new beginnings, new seasons, and all of the things that are going to make our life a little bit easier as we head into that warmer weather.
And first up, Claymates is this amazing toy where you get these wooden figures -- and they are made in America, from sustainable wood -- and it has this different clay where kids can create and form these really cool people and creatures.
It gets kids talking: talking about their day, their emotions, how they’re feeling. This would be so perfect in an Easter basket. I love the idea that it’s something screen-free we can do together with our kids. So check out Claymates; they have a great story. Find them on TikTok or Instagram.”
